The lesson was very informative and it was all worth the money and time invested. What made the entire class entertaining and informative was the assistance of the instructor. It showed that she was very knowledgeable about her craft. I am looking forward to the next lesson at the Brooklyn Kitchen.

Very friendly and knowledgable staff but our first go around resulted in raw doughnuts.

Fun, but a little passive. All ingredients already measured out. All we had to do was pour into an industrial stand mixer (which none of us would have in our apartments) and watch them mix. Activity level felt like it was for a children's class. We did roll the dough and do the frying. The place is lovely and everyone very nice, but not sure it's worth $100.

They didn't make two of the type of donuts they said they would on the syllabus. I was disappointed because the cider donuts were the reason I wanted to go. The other one was an apple fritter which sounded better to me than the Ricotta one they had us make. I think they made the expectation 0f what the class would be seem much better than it was

This was just a great class! My wife gifted it to me as a Christmas present, I learned a lot, I liked the 'make your own dough, normally this would take a few hours, but here's dough that has finished proofing from earlier so we can continue the process.' Hands on was great, I feel pretty confident that when it's time for me to make some donuts I can do so in the future. Teacher was great too, informative, helpful, attentive. Aaand we got to eat donuts and also pack home as many as we wanted.

I took this class with a friend of mine, and we both loved the class. The instructor (Tom) was friendly, approachable and very knowledgeable. We learned about the differences between cake doughnuts and yeast doughnuts. Tom's instructions were clear and easy to understand and follow. I loved the fact that there was beer to drink while we were in class. I would definitely recommend this class to anyone. The location of the class was great too!

I liked the atmosphere, and the doughnuts came out great, however, everyone taking the class kept touching their cell phones and then touching the food, which is unsanitary! The only time the teacher requested people to wash their hands was when we first entered. Additionally, the class was supposed to be 2 hours, but it ended 20 minutes early :( Don't think I would take another class here, don't want to risk getting sick.
