Rachel is a dedicated educator who taiught with joy and passion! She deeply cares about her students and managed to deliver the course goals precise and easy to grasp in no time! My highest recommendations for this class! Although as an interior designer and would’ve appreciated a deeper introduction into perspective drawings I still took a great deal of valuable knowledge from this class and would always do it again! Very comprehensive kick start into all the vital tools and a wide array of techniques with focus on light and shadow as well as material textures and shape. I couldn’t be more happy about this amazing class apart from the fact that it could’ve lasted twice as long :) If you can choose definitely try to get into Rachel’s class! She did an amazing job. We - the students talked afterwards and we were all satisfied to the core. Rachel manages to critique in a very kind and respectful way and finds encouraging words for even the most challenged students to keep trying to achieve their very best while managing the level differences of the other participants! Spoiler alert - we were even allowed to draw a life model at the end of the class which was an amazing experience and like all other classes very well curated and instructed. You can’t get better value for your money!!! Thank you Rachel for this amazing experience!

Informative class. Well attended. Would have preferred to not have spent time on the "break the ice" opening segment which took up an hour and a half of valuable (and resulted in a piece of art that was less than good on my part), but the teacher, Rachel was very well informed and very helpful. Sending out a timeframe/class outline ahead of time in the future would be most helpful, since this was a day long class.

Rachel was an amazing instructor! The class gave me exposure to a broad range of techniques and exercises I could use to improve my drawing. To boot, the environment was incredibly positive and made me feel unafraid to fail.
