Description

This comprehensive course builds foundational mathematical understanding and develops the practical skills needed to approach more advanced grade-level mathematics with greater confidence and capability. The carefully designed curriculum addresses critical mathematical concepts and topics essential for academic success and future learning in mathematics.

Topics covered include:

Working with radical and integer exponents in various contexts, understanding proportional relationships and their real-world applications, solving linear equations with multiple variables and coefficients, understanding and applying concepts of congruence and similarity in geometric figures, and mastering techniques for calculating the volume of cylinders, cones, and spheres using the appropriate formulas.

What to bring to class: Notebook paper and pencils for note-taking, practice work, and problem-solving exercises.

Refund Policy

There are no refunds or transfers after a class begins. Requests to withdraw from a class or transfer to another Community Services class must be done 5 OR MORE DAYS prior to the first class meeting. There is a $15 service charge per class for each refund or transfer requested. If you enrolled in a class less than 5 days prior to the first class meeting, NO refunds will be given. There are no refunds or credits for absences and late registrations are not pro-rated. Missed class meetings may not be made up in another class.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
