Description

Illinois state parks offer a variety of opportunities for photographers to capture unique habitats.

You will spend your first week in the woods and trails of the Chicago Botanic Garden. The second week will be at Illinois Beach State Park, where you will photograph the black oak forests, cacti, and cattails. Explore Moraine Hills State Park in the third week and practice capturing images of some of the more than 200 bird species around Lake Defiance. Week four will be back at the Garden to review and critique photographs.

Transportation is on your own.
Class is limited to DSLR or mirrorless cameras.
No phone cameras, please.

Refund Policy

Refund requests must be submitted to [email protected] 2 business days prior to the program’s start date and time. The registration fee will be refunded less a 15% processing charge. A refund is issued in the form of a credit on file (to be used for future programs).

Refund requests submitted less than 48 hours prior to a program start date are non-transferable and are not eligible for a refund.

Fees are nonrefundable and nontransferable on and after the program’s start date. We cannot refund fees requested on or after the start date of a program or for sessions missed due to student illness or other personal situations.

Registration fees for courses grouped and priced as a series will be considered one program and subject to all of the above guidelines. A refund request must be received prior to the start date of the series' first class session and will subsequently cancel your registration in every session of the series.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
