Create a Quilted “Floor Canvas” – Durable, Washable & Uniquely Yours!

Tired of store-bought rugs that don’t fit your space and fall apart after a few washes—if they’re washable at all? In this one-day class, you’ll learn how to make a quilted "floor canvas," a mini raw-edge appliqué quilt designed for both durability and whimsy underfoot. These rugged, washable floor quilts add charm and utility to any room, outlasting their mass-produced counterparts.

On the day of class, you'll get to choose from our selection of Begh Designs patterns, ensuring your project reflects your personal style. Whether you're new to quilting or experienced, this project is a great way to practice sewing with heavier fabrics. You’ll also explore the "illustrate with thread" technique, adding unique details to your appliqué. With expert tips and tricks, you'll be crafting versatile floor quilts perfect for kitchens, baths, entryways, and more!

Finished Size: 33" x 51"

Additional supplies will be required. We’ll provide details at a later date.

Refund Policy

  • Customers can cancel up to 6 business days before the class and receive store credit.
  • If a customer cancels within 6 business days of the class, the customer forfeits the cost of the class, unless a replacement fills the spot, in which case store credit will be given.
  • No refunds or store credit will be given after a class has begun.

No cash refunds.

To be fair to our instructors and other customers we cannot provide make-up classes for missed sessions.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
