In an upcoming class in a galaxy very, very close by… join us on a journey of creativity! In this introductory fusing lesson students will learn how to transform sheets of glass into portraits of their favorite Star Wars characters! You'll learn how to turn pieces of glass into the Death Star, "Baby Yoda," and more. Once finished, pieces will be placed in the kilns, where students can select specific temperatures to create different textures. Create a piece with a tactile surface like Chewbacca’s fur, or a sleek finish like Darth Vader’s helmet!
What to Expect: Students will create 1 or 2 fused pieces of their own simple design, under 5” in any direction.
Eligibility: No previous experience required. Open to ages 12 and up.
Pick-up: The glass needs to be fused in the kiln and cool down overnight, so the students will have to return to the school once notified to pick up their work.
This is an in-person class taking place on-site at our school. Health and safety guidelines will be emailed to you upon registration.
