Silk Screen Printing

Silk screen printing can fill a page with color in a single stroke, or build layer upon transparent layer of intricate detail. Screen prints may be vibrant or subtle, sharp-edged, or brushy and textured. Students create hand-painted, hand-cut, and photographic stencils, and then print through them using water based non-toxic inks. Lab fee of $50, payable to the instructor, covers supplies and screen. Additional open studio time is available on Mondays...
